Registration for ISUenergy 2026 

Conditions

• ISUenergy 2026 will take place from 23. August - 04. September 2026. The course language is English.
   
• The number of participants is limited to 65 students.
   
• A pre-set application process forms the basis for being able to participate in the event among qualified, interdisciplinary students.
   
• ISUenergy 2026 fees are (early bird until 31.03.2026):
  • Students in Bachelor/Master courses:   CHF   900.00
  • Students in PhD courses:                      CHF 1'200.00
  • Other participants (e.g. from industry):  CHF 1'800.00
     
• For applications after 31.03.2026, a CHF 100.00 fee will be added.
   
• The participation fee covers all activities organized for participants within the framework of ISUenergy. In addition to the course fees, this includes accommodation from 23.08.2026 – 05.09.2026, as well as lunch meals during the courses, a welcome BBQ, and coffee breaks. Breakfast and dinner, which are organized individually are excluded.
   
• Participants from non-OECD countries may receive a 10% discount.
   
• Applications are open until 31. May 2026 (provided there are open course slots).
   

Procedure

• Please apply via the online application. To be admitted to participate in ISUenergy, this process must be completed: Registration for application - Nomination - Payment - Approval.
   
• Please also read and accept our ISUenergy participation terms and conditions in advance.
   

Registration for application

To apply successfully, it is important that you send us the following information as PDF documents per topic via the online application form:

1. Digital copy of your ID card or passport
2. Letter of application and motivation
3. Curriculum vitae
4. Latest or highest School or University Certificate in English or German
5. References and certificates of employment

To ensure reception, please reduce the document size to a total of maximum 10 MB, or send them in separate mails.
 

Nomination
 

The criteria for your nomination are:

1. Registered Bachelor's, Master's or PhD student
2. Academic achievements to date
3. Your statement of motivation for participation
4. Knowledge of English language - C1 level
    

The nomination by organisers takes place as follows:

1. After we receive your online application, we will review it within 3 business days. If we have any further questions, we will contact you by e-mail at short notice.
2. We will also keep you informed of the status of your nomination by e-mail within two weeks. If you do not receive an email, please request it again and check your spam folder.
3. Registration: If you have received a nomination offer and wish to accept, please send us an e-mail confirmation within one week, together with a scanned and signed copy of the ISUenergy participation terms and conditions.
    

Payment

1. The participation fee must be transferred to ISUres's account within one week of receiving our payment instructions.
2. Please send a confirmation of your transaction by e-mail at the same time.
    

Approval

Upon completion of a successful application process, we will send you a confirmation letter.
