Conditions

• ISUenergy 2025 will take place from 24th August to 5th September 2025.
• The number of participants is limited to 65 students.
• A pre-set application process with several criteria forms the basis for being able to participate in the event among qualified, interdisciplinary students. 
• ISUenergy 2025 (incl. accommondation until 6th September 2025) fees are: 
  CHF 600.00 for Bachelor/Master students (to be enrolled as such during the ISUenergy period is needed) and 
  CHF 900.00 for PHD students 
• Registrations are now open. When you apply before 10th May 2025, you will receive an early bird discount of 100 CHF.

Application 

• If you are not allowed to use the EELISA application process, please apply using this online application form. To do so, first register on the website with your name and email address with password.
• Please also read our general terms and conditions in advance.

Application documentation 

To register successfully, it is important that you send us via  the Online Application form the completed following information in form of on PDF documents per topic:

1. Picture page of your ID card or passport ;
2. Transcript of grades from your home university ;
3. Valid University certificate in English or German ; 
4. Curriculum vitae ; 
5. Reasoned statement of interest in participating in the event .

To ensure reception, please reduce the document size to a total of maximum 10 MB, or send them in separate mails.

Selection criteria

The criteria for acceptance of your application are:

1. registered bachelor's or master's student or doctoral candidate; 
2. academic achievements to date;
3. short statement of motivation for participation;
4. knowledge of English.

Nomination 

1. After we receive your online application, we will start reviewing it within six days. If we have any further questions, we will contact you by email at short notice.
2. We will also keep you informed of the status of your nomination by email within two weeks. If you do not receive an email, please request it again and check your spam folder. 
3. Registration: If you have received a nomination offer and wish to accept, please send us an e-mail confirmation within one week, together with a scanned and signed copy of our waiver of liability.

Payment of participation fee

1.  The participation fee is to be transferred to the account of the ISUres within two weeks of your nomination. 
2. Please send a confirmation of your transaction by email at the same time.
   Lunch, accommodation: The costs for lunch during the tuition and accommodation from 24th August 2025 - 6th September 2025 are included in the participation fee. Dinner has to be organised individually, e.g. at the accommodation.
3. Confirmation of participation: After the complete registration process has been successfully completed, we will send you a confirmation letter and prepare everything for your time at the event location in Falera.
